I was born and raised in LaGrange and am a product of Troup County School System and LaGrange College. I own The Local Chiropractic which will celebrate its 3 year anniversary on March 1! I first became interested in chiropractic after getting relief from childhood migraines that I suffered from for years beginning in kindergarten. While in chiropractic school, I became passionate about prenatal and perinatal chiropractic care and advocating for pregnant moms and children, which is now the foundation of my practice! Last year was a busy one for my husband and me — we added a son, Dane, to our family and fulfilled another dream in buying and renovating 310 Broad Street, which was originally built by Enoch Callaway in 1924 and was most recently BB&T Bank. We were thrilled to be able to bring new life to a small piece of LaGrange’s history!

About Lindsey Robinson

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Anthony Robinson. He is a contractor and also runs his own business. I come up with wild ideas (like flipping an old house-turned bank- into my dream office space!!) and he brings them to life. Together, we have a 10 month old son, Dane, and our biggest baby, Rocky who is a 75 pound pitbull rescue!

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

The people who I meet on a daily basis and the relationships I build with my patients and their families. The most rewarding part of my career is being a part of a mom’s prenatal team. I love taking care of pregnant women and supporting them through the journey, many decisions, and emotions that go with it! The greatest honor is being able to adjust a baby and having a mom put her full trust in you by letting you care for her children.

Q: What advice would you give to people?

“Start now. Start with fear. Start with pain. Start with doubt. Start with hands shaking. Start with voice trembling. Just start.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

Adjusting away on Broad Street! I hope to continue to grow our practice and to be a place where families feel confident coming for their healthcare. We are working to become a broader-spectrum wellness facility and partnering with like-minded providers to bring other services to the families in our community.

Lindsey Robinson & Our Community

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

You can find me at Charlie Joseph’s downtown more often than I’d like to admit! I also love Fat Daddy’s and Pizza Villa!

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

I’ve lived in LaGrange my whole life. I began working here as a chiropractor in 2019.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

Not a specific person, but I love when patients who work for the City of LaGrange come in because they know what is going on in our community and what new restaurants, stores, and businesses are coming

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

Summers at the LaGrange College Pool; Sunday lunches at Jimmy’s on Main Street; LHS Spring concert, football games, and the smell of burgers grilling during baseball season, lunch at Charlie Joseph’s

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

I love The Thread and have spent many, many miles walking it! My favorite thing about it is how friendly and hospitable everyone is — especially the early morning crowd, you won’t pass a single person who doesn’t smile and say “good morning!” We use the term that’s “so LaGrange” for things that are stereotypical small town LaGrange and the way that you can’t go anywhere without being greeted by someone you know is a prime example! Some people might hate that, but when we lived in Marietta, I missed seeing familiar faces!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

Former President Jimmy Carter, I am sure we would go to Charlie Joseph’s Downtown, because I feel like he would appreciate both the history of the building and also the amazing southern hospitality you can always find there!

For Fun

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

My friends and family will laugh at this because I am NOT a movie person and have seen very few, but my favorite is Baby Mama! Before my TV became occupied with Ms Rachel and Cocomelon, I loved to watch The Today Show, FRIENDS, and Gilmore Girls!

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

I began college as a music education major and did two years studying early childhood education with a music minor before I finally admitted that my heart was not in it!

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?

A sunny day at the beach!

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

Dane

Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?

Family, Rocky, Naps!
