I am 47 years old. I started working for the Troup County Sheriff’s Office in 2004. I have worked in the patrol division, the court services division, the criminal investigations division, the jail division and am currently the Lieutenant in the Office of Professional Standards division. During that span, I also volunteered as a Board Member for the Harmony House Domestic Violence shelter in Lagrange. I volunteer every year for Hospice of Lagrange. I have coached baseball, basketball, and football for the Troup County Parks and Recreation Department. I have served as the Chaplain and executive board member for the Georgia Internal Affairs Investigators Association for the last 10 years. I love volunteering and getting involved in my community. I am currently serving as the Senior Pastor at Friendship Baptist Church in Lagrange. I have a beautiful wife named Dawn and a beautiful 14-year-old daughter named Haley. My hobbies are playing pool, playing cornhole and watching Georgia Football. I have four German shepherds, Duke, Daisy, Bear and Bella that I love to train and spend time with.
