My name is Doug Bingham, Pastor of Unity Baptist Church in LaGrange and my wife’s name is Linda. We have been married for 49 years and have 7 children with 16 grand children. I was born and raised in Kentucky, Linda was born in Michigan and we were married in Tennessee while living in Virginia. We moved later to live and work in Oak Ridge, TN. for almost 8 years. God moved through a neighbor lady to witness to Linda, as a result we were both saved and baptized one year before CBS Records moved us to Carrollton Georgia, I worked there for 8 years. We have been in Georgia for 42 years, in LaGrange for 17 of those years. After moving and visiting many churches we joined Eureka Baptist Church near Carrollton and began working in Bus and Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry and teaching Sunday School. There God called me to preach and we pastored 3 great churches before coming to a great and wonderful Church here in LaGrange, Unity Baptist Church, on December 06, 2006. This year we are hosting a “Back To Church Sunday” and everyone is invited and welcome. The Covid pandemic was a difficult time for everyone, churches included. We believe it would be great for all those who have not returned to church to try Church again and see what you are missing. And for all those who don’t attend Church anywhere, it is a great time to try Church for a change. One other event is our Homecoming Day on October First, you are invited for a very special day here at Unity.
