About Adam Camp

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

My wife, Amy, homeschooled our children for 20+ years before taking a position teaching math at Springwood school a few years ago. My oldest daughter, Gracie, just got married to Benjamin Ryle. They are living in Savannah. My second daughter, Abby, is a student at Auburn University. And Liddy and Jonas are both at Springwood.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

I have been the Sr. Pastor of Rosemont for 12 years. I taught school before that. I graduated from Columbus State University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I love teaching the word of God and ministering to the people of our community

Q: What advice would you give to people?

Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind. And love others as yourself.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

I hope to still be faithfully serving the Lord here in LaGrange.

Adam Camp & Our Community

Jim Bob’s, Charlie Joseph’s, and the Taste of Lemon

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

41 years

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

This was a hard question for me. I’ve met so many wonderful and interesting people over the years I’m not sure I could narrow down to just one. The people of LaGrange are friendly and kind. I’m so happy that Amy and I were able to raise our family here.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

The old Barrel-O-Fun (arcade at the mall), and Lynch’s (old video store)

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

The Christmas Parade has been a family favorite of ours since I was a kid. We’ve been to almost every parade the last 40 years. Our children have grown to love it as well.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

Elon Musk – his forward thinking ideas and vision are so interesting to me. I would love to hear more about his inspiration and motivation. I would probably take him to Taste of Lemon.

For Fun
